A short evening walk down on the shores of Loch Ryan near Soleburn.
I spotted a ladybird eating an aphid.
Wave warning signs are placed right around the shores of the Loch warning of the wake that comes in after a ferry has passed. The ferries go from Stranraer and Cairnryan to Northern Ireland.
Female Eider and young, the loch is becoming an important site for them.
The loch is popular with seals.
