A trip down to Auchie Glen to see what birds are arriving. The Glen is the first real wooded area after the birds hit land at the Mull of Galloway. Its also great for butterflies and moths. Our first tortoiseshell of the year.

Early apple blossom

Warbler, plenty of Chiffchaffs and Willow Warblers about.

Sheep and lambs on the hill

Another Yellowhammer, there were dozens about!

Hut in field

7 Spot Ladybird, lots about this year!

Spider with fly

Red Admiral butterfly

Red Tailed Bumblebee on Willow

Rush Veneer, very early arrival
