Injured-deer

One morning we noticed this poor thing with an injured leg. It wasn’t walking very well and kept licking it. We rang the SSPCA and they came out to have a look, but couldn’t catch it as it was still able to run.

They told us to keep an eye on it, it would either get better or infection would set in and it would become unwell, they would then be able to catch and treat it. Thankfully we saw it several times after this and it appeared to improve.

…And finally, not in our garden but at an undisclosed location in Dumfries & Galloway ( I don’t want its head to end up on some glory hunters wall!), this beautiful white stag.
