Edinburgh Trip Early October 2010 Part 1

A rare few days away from home and our first visit to the Edinburgh area.

Stopped off on the way at New Lanark, late in the day and just closing but we managed a few shots.

Plenty of water in the Clyde.

Ripe Elderberries

Fish and chips for tea by Lanark Loch!

Finally got to the Premier Inn at Livingston after getting lost. Our first visit to a Premier Inn so Pete had to do his Lenny Henry impression!

It should have been easy to find as it was right by this roundabout!

We went to the Self Build & Home Improvements show at the Royal Highland Centre , Linda Barker was doing demonstrations whilst Craig was on hand to help.

Not sure what he has to do with building homes!

Craig!

and Spiderman too!

On to Leith docks...

This ship is the Seawell.

Gormley style man on the end of the jetty.
(I am imformed that this is a Gormley man, thanks to Sandy!)

An excellent tour of Scotland - some known and some new to me. Your Gormley style man is more than Gormley style, it is actually a Gormley - part of 6 times (there's another 5 of them along the Water of Leith)
