Barend and Sandyhills–31st May 2014

Time to explore some more of beautiful Dumfries and Galloway that we hadn’t seen before.

We had a welcome rest at the beach shop at Sandyhills for an icecream, a lovely spot with plenty of picnic tables. There is a lovely campsite here too. I overheard a camper in the shop say “ we often stop off here on our way up to Scotland!”
