Monreith to St Medans–29th June 2013
A cloudy day but some chance of sunshine so we decided on a beach walk from Monreith as the tide was out. Hoping to see a few invertebrates!
Small spotted Cat-shark egg case aka Lesser Spotted Dogfish (Scyliorhinus canicula)
Cranbus probably pratella or lathoniellus

Micro moth-Lobesia littoralis I think
It can only be D&G….
…with a beach to ourselves!

Some good caves here…
..this ones a bit spooky, looks like its streaked with blood!
Fulmars nesting on the cliffs
Plenty of wormcasts…
…and food for waders

…last time we visited it was open.
