Well the snow arrived later than elsewhere on The Rhins but it finally arrived on 18th December. The view from our front window.
We live at Keepers Cottage, on The North Rhins, SW Scotland and because of its situation and the variety of wildlife that can be seen in and around the cottage, I decided to keep a wildlife diary. We also enjoy regular walks in beautiful Dumfries and Galloway and beyond which I also record here, with photos and few words.

We have 5 or 6 inches of fresh powdery snow but high winds are blowing it most of it down slope and we're keeping our fingers crossed that the unusual warm up in the weather forecast for this weekend is correct. Winter is barely here and I've already had enough!
Beautiful Shots loved the wildlife trails, smashing.
Nice pictures, your close ups of our feathered friends are always wonderful.
Which planet does Pete imagine the snow being is from ?
