The year started with plenty of snow making it difficult to get out and about, however, we are very lucky and a lot of wildlife comes to our garden!
Our front gate
Looking up our road…
…and down the road
Snow drifts in the garden
blasted teasel head
More drifts
Snow plastered around Mikes window
Ice in the pond
One of our frozen ponds
Snowy woods
The shed door
Long-tailed and Bluetit on feeder
Distant grainy shot of a Brambling, Redpoll and House Sparrow on feeder
We had plenty of visitors to the feeders in the snow..
..they were queuing to get a space!
The Long-tails have been frequent visitors
Such cute little birds and they always fly in small flocks
Now that’s what I call a post topper!
A bit bedraggled from the rain
Posing for me in the snow
We have seen a few Roe Deer from the house this year too
Snowdrops
A welcome sign of Spring
Snowflakes too
The highlight of February was this beautiful Stoat in ermine in our front garden, I have not seen one in it’s winter coat before.
