We arrived at Galloway House Gardens just when the weather started to clear. There is a good carpark here and the fee goes towards the upkeep of the gardens.

After walking through the gardens you come out on the shores of Rigg Bay where there tested the Mulberry Harbours during WW2.
Its a beautiful quiet beach with gulls and terns.
The walk to Cruggleton Castle is spectacular with great views!
